Rib Lickers Smoke Shack in Glasgow

Kind of confusing on what to do when you go in. You have to go into a back room behind the bar to order, wait a few minutes, and then go see if you order is ready. Pretty much everything in here is self serve which I can't say I like. The wings are very tasty though and are a dry rub mostly with some sauce in top. Very delicious but also small so if you want a lot of meat make sure to order a lot!

The cafeteria style service is not very pleasant for the patrons. Waiting in line for at least 15 minutes almost made me leave. I'd much rather place my order, wait at a table, or at the bar (spending money) until the order is ready. Call my name or number and I'll come get it. The cafeteria line in the stuffy hallway is one reason I won't be likely to visit again any time soon.I order 1/2 slab of ribs and the spicy corn. The ribs were well cooked and very tender but not very flavorful. All of the flavor came from the sauce which was pretty good. There was nothing bad about them but not much good either. The spicy corn was very good. The highlight of the meal.

We have eaten here once and carried out a few times. The food is excellent and well worth the price. It's hard to accurately describe the environment in a few words, but we love it. There's a lot to look at and the staff are very nice. If you don't know if you'll like the taste of something, you can ask for a sample before ordering. They want to be absolutely sure you will enjoy your meal and it shows. They also have live music on a stage sometimes. We will continue to eat here.

Stopped by for lunch. Pulled pork, chopped chicken, sauces were good. Tasty sides but prices are high/portions are small. No inside service at present but no service provided for available outside seating. Not a fan of running back and forth to the drive thru window for condiments, missing items from order, utensils, etc. Also wanted to tip our server or whoever came to check on us. No one came out at any point. Had to smash down overflowing trash cans to clean up after ourselves. Maybe consider checking on outside guests or taking orders from outside as well as the window.

Awesome place to visit! If you are even 25 miles near this place take the time and go. The staff put on a great atmosphere

Just moved here and found this place, outstanding food and entertainment, with Veteran parking only spots, my new favorite place.

Walk thru to order BBQ and sides. Building has doors that open along the walls and also has a bar and stone oven pizza place. BBQ was good, sides were OK. Appears there is live music on the stage Friday and Saturday nights.

Ordered from Soky Deliveries, food was quick to get here, though I didn't recieve my hashbrown casserole and the food was pretty dry!

Got it for carry out. We were very pleased!!

They were out of a lot of things at the time we went, so we all got the pulled pork sandwiches. No regrets! It was tender and juicy with a buttered grilled bun.The baked beans were bbq perfection with just a hint of sweet and tang. The potato salad was okay, could've used pickles and a little more seasoning, but overall decent.A sandwich and two sides is only $8.50, so this is a goid bargain for good food. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I heard about this place a few months ago. We went this evening and it wasn’t very good at all. The menu had good looking Bbq. I ordered a brisket dinner with one slice of pork shoulder. (I had asked if they had burnt ends and they said no.) My wife ordered a chopped chicken dinner. When we got our food it was both sandwiches. Not sure why that was but oh well. Her chicken was super dry with no smoke whatsoever. My brisket (on my sandwich) was a cheap attempt at roast beef. There was no bark,no pepper and absolutely no smoke flavor at all. We had to order at one point and walk through a maze and tell two different other people what we had ordered just so we could pay. I wouldn’t recommend this place for bbq to anyone. White castles is about two miles up the road. We actually went there after we left so we could have dinner. I hope this helps.

The drive up window is horrible. Cars pull forward to wait on their orders then a called in order car is blocked and can't get out. Poor design for pickup. We picked up our order and we got home and no sauce st all was included. Mild was requested. The meat is dry without the sauce and it's not bbq without sauce. Very disappointed.

I liked that they offer a 3,or 5 oz sandwiches . Some places say that 3 oz is enough. Very good pulled pork and baked beans Their sauce was delicious! My date wanted to try the brisket, but it was already gone. (She loved what she ordered) This tells me that the locals enjoy it.They haven't opened up the inside, but it wasn't very hot that day on the patio. An excellent choice for BBQ!

Weird layout, but great atmosphere. Food was pretty good, but I definitely want to come back and try other menu items before giving it 5 stars.

My wife and I went in today for an early lunch. They have the best BBQ I have eaten in years. They put enough on your tray you want leave their hungry If you do it's because you ordered it to go..... They have the best service a lady named Shanna waited on us. She got us what we wanted and she came out in a little while to see if everything was to our satisfaction ( it was ) and to see if we needed anything else. I did I ordered another meal to go. She was right the baked potatoes are so big it will feed two people. Thank you so much Shanna and thank you Rib Lickers for the great service and the great food.... Joseph Sexton

Great place,best barbecue in town and surrounding counties.very reasonable price too.a must place to go if you haven't ever been,plan a road trip and go,you will not be disappointed...

Ordered 2 orders of the big rig meat samplers ($36 each), first of all they were out of brisket at 5pm on Thursday, so they substituted dry chicken and still charged full price. I mention this bc brisket cost more then the chicken on the menu for every other option offered so why full price when substituting a lesser value?? Secondly, they didn’t give us any Texas toast or sweet and Spicy pickles that were suppose to be included with “big rig”. They were also out of their apple slices and offered peach cobbler instead. We purchased and paid for two additional sides of cobbler, which we also did not receive. What a joke. After getting home and realizing we were over charged and short changed, we will NEVER return. $100 dinner can be bought elsewhere. Oh yea and wings are extremely small and seem like they went straight from freezer to fryer. Pass on this place.

Great food an atmosphere. Beer was cold an great happy hour prices. We were a large group an service was excellent.

The ribs were the best I’ve ever eaten!! Super friendly great atmosphere! Glad we went out of our way to get there. One of us had the brisket and another had the pulled pork. Both were amazing. The baked beans were excellent. If you’re in the Mammoth Cave area, it’s worth the trip!!!

Good food, interesting decor. We were there just after opening on a Saturday, not busy yet. I would have preferred fries made to order as it doesn't take long to cool down on assembly line warmers. The baked potato was huge and well topped. Brisket was good and ribs were meaty and tasty. Variety of sauces but very thin. They have a stage, indoor/outdoor seating and live entertainment in the evenings apparently. Desserts available but the display didn't look interesting enough to try any.

YUM!! pretty sure this is my favorite restaurant in Glasgow Ky now! Really neat looking place, nice staff, awesome food. Shared the big rig meat sampler w the bf and had enough leftover to take home. Ribs were my favorite and the bbq sauces are super yummy. We will def be making this one of our go to restaurants.

Tried to have e lunch there one day, but if was inedible. The pulled pork was full of grease and had a horrible flavor the greens were full of onions giving it an awful taste. You couldn't taste the greens at all. We will never be back!! The chef should visit SC and learn to smoke meat the right way.

My husband's favorite place for a shoulder plate. For me, the menu is a little confusing. The brisket is excellent; original bbq sauce is definitely my recommendation but our group likes all of the choices. Potato salad is definitely good. Baked potato with brisket is crazy expensive but delicious. Casual BBQ atmosphere, with disposable utensils and paper towels on the table. 👍Haven't been here for live music but the space is generous so I imagine it wouldn't feel overly crowded. Not sure about acoustics, it's built like a large garage- that could be good or bad.

Awesome barbecue at affordable prices, but the wait can be super long even for carryout. While I didn't eat inside the restaurant, the atmosphere and decor was very nice.

In spite of covid, they accommodated us nicely. The food was 1st rate and worth the hour ride to get there. I have them saved in my GPS as a place to go back to.

Best brisket. Do not ruin it by putting sause on it. Perfect without.

The food online looks very appetizing, but once you taste this bland food you know that this is all for show. I will not be returning. The calling in experience was sub par. The layout of the place was so confusing for a first time customer. I actually had to ask a patron of the place where to go to pick up my food. I placed my order at least 30 minutes before I arrived, and it still was not ready to be picked up. I waited another 30 mins and finally I received my food. When I finally got back to my place of work I sat down to enjoy my food only to find the worst attempt at chicken wings in my life. I ordered two different sauces for the wings and they tasted almost identical to each other.

I love the big un bbq potato and the bbq egg rolls!!!

We did the platter, which was a sample of a lot of their food & everything was really good.

Pizza's are a great addition to their menu! Very good!!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Service does not get any better than that! The food was fantastic. The pulled pork, ribs and brisket were fantastic! Do yourself a favor and do not skip the corn pudding! They also have a good beer selection!

Collard green and green beans were great. Ribs were a little dry but the sauce was good. Will eat here again.

This was our 2nd time here and we loved it more each time. Great laid back atmosphere, even better food. Live music tonight too was awesome.
